Nate & MaryJo ~ Brackett's Crossing Country Club

4/27/15

Happy Anniversary MaryJo & Nate!!  It only seems fitting to feature this wedding today as they celebrate 2 years of marriage!  Not only was it fun to work with these two cool cats but their flowers were some of my favorite designs from this wedding season because of all the gorgeous shades of purple and textures!  You will never go wrong using lush dutch hydrangea, delicate lisianthus and picasso calla lilies.
Congrats you two enjoy celebrating today!!

Mitch & Carly ~ The Woods Chapel & Hazeltine Golf Club

4/20/15

Bright, bold, beautiful and fun!  I had an absolute blast getting to know Carly & Mitch and working with them to plan their wedding day.  The Woods Chapel is my absolute favorite spot for outdoors weddings as the setting is picture perfect with the lush trees, romantic pond view, beautiful fountain, cottages and the gorgeous setting for the ceremony with amphitheater style seating for your guests.  The bright teal blue and hot pink accents were a great color scheme for June and up against all of the natural greenery at both the Woods and the course at Hazeltine.  Congrats to Mr & Mrs Baker coming up on 3 years of marriage and one handsome little man that joined their family!
I loved their ice sculpture that served up the signature drink ~ BakerTini's!!!

Dave & Natalie ~ Arboretum and Varsity Theater

4/13/15

The sweetest kind of love in a vintage styled wedding!  Natalie & Dave are friends of ours and when Natalie who is an amazingly talented person asked me to be her florist I was ecstatic knowing this was going to be one gorgeously planned wedding! They were married at the Arboretum surrounded by the natural beauty of the outdoors in the Sensory Garden and it could not have had a more lovely day for a wedding!  The white anemone is one of my very favorite blooms to use so I was thrilled when Natalie came to me with these as a favorite of hers too.  There is something so stunning about an all white bridal bouquet accented with anemones against a beautiful bridal gown.  And stunning she was!!  The pomander arrangements that framed up the ceremony space are still one of my favorite ways I've used these candelabra pieces.  The reception was at the Varsity Theater and to help compliment the unique charm there we did an ostrich feather centerpiece which fit perfectly with the candles, lighting and decor.  Enjoy this beauty and Happy Monday!
