*Nominated* - Best Social Event Award

So Excited!!! We were notified today that Christina Marie Events along with Mintahoe catering was nominated for a prestigious Star Award through ISES. We were selected for Best Social Event on a Wedding that took place last September. CME was hired by the bride & groom for wedding coordination, decor design and bridal flowers. We transformed the FIVE Event Center into a swanky Island styled wedding that was full of ocean colors, feather flair, details and food that made this event beautiful, fun and eccentric.

I am so excited to attend the award ceremony at the end of March, my fingers are crossed that CME & Mintahoe will take home the award, however just being nominated with this class of other wedding professionals is a great honor!!

To be recognized for doing what I love while working with such wonderful couples is truly icing on the cake in my job!

Here are some pictures for the amazing island themed wedding! (thanks SoulCam Photography)

MN Bride Magazine ~ Ask the Expert

Over the past year I have been honored by being asked to contribute expert information on all aspects of wedding planning for Minnesota Bride Magazine. Recently a bride wrote in with the dilemma of compromising on the number of bridal party participants with her groom. I see this frequently with couples trying to decide on the right combination of friends & family to have stand up for them. I was excited to respond with examples from past couples of mine and how we overcame this hurdle in their planning.

Uneven Bridal Parties

This was the brides response! I LOVE to see this :)

"Wow - this is a really helpful response. Thank you! We really like the idea about simply keeping the bridesmaids and groomsmen uneven and how to make the processional still look good. Huge problem solved!
